Mountain Heritage Farm is a 14-acre farm owned by Janet McDaniel and Bruce Blaylock in Waiteville, WV. Janet’s grandmother purchased this farm in 1923. Janet grew up on a nearby farm in Waiteville. They sell vegetables grown in their four gardens as well as sour cherries, wild blackberries, heirloom apples, and strawberries. Janet bakes muffins and other baked goods from their locally grown fruits and vegetables. She also bakes yeast breads such as cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky buns, cookies, chocolate mint brownies, and other baked goods using cooking techniques and recipes handed down through her family.
